Now

Quick way to check what I'm up to these days.

Now

Here’s what I’m doing right now, both professionally and personally.

What I'm working on currently?

Working as a Software Engineer at TIB (Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology). involved in twillo.de as a Software Engineer.

I’m trying to do more of a few things:

  1. Learning new technologies. Currently, I’m focusing on architecture, design systems, and cloud computing.
  2. Messing around with code (because why not?) and diving into AI too.

Reading

  1. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
A book that focuses on financial education, investing, and building wealth, while advocating for an entrepreneurial mindset over traditional work.

  2. Atomic Habits by James Clear
A great book for anyone looking to build good habits and break bad ones. It's packed with actionable insights on how to make small changes that lead to big results.

  3. Live to Tell by Fr Zef Pllumi
Pllumi is a powerful memoir of survival and faith during Albania's communist regime. After being arrested, tortured, and sent to labor camps, Fr. Pllumi reflects on his extraordinary will to survive and his desire to "live to tell" the atrocities he witnessed

Completed Books:

  1. Don't Sweat the Small Stuff... by Richard Carlson
A great reminder to not get caught up in the little things that stress us out. The book emphasizes the importance of focusing on the bigger picture and maintaining a calm, peaceful perspective on life.

Traveling

After a pandemic-induced pause, I've rekindled my love for travel. This year, I've explored (or will soon explore) these captivating destinations:

  • Morocco: A vibrant blend of history, culture, and stunning landscapes.
  • Malta: A small island with a rich history, beautiful beaches, and charming towns.
  • Lithuania: A hidden gem with stunning architecture, particularly in the historic city of Vilnius.
  • Latvia: A Baltic beauty with lush forests, coastal towns, and a unique cultural heritage.
  • Estonia: A digital pioneer with a medieval heart, offering a perfect balance of old and new.

Doing More of This:

I’m focusing on balancing my professional work with a variety of personal activities. Here’s what I’m getting up to:

  1. Gym: Staying fit is more important than ever. I’m working on improving my strength and endurance. Regular workouts are key to my routine.
  2. Running: I’ve recently started running regularly again. It helps clear my mind and is great for my overall fitness.
  3. Learning Bachata Dancing: I’ve taken a serious interest in learning bachata dancing. It’s a fun way to stay active and pick up a new skill!
  4. More Projects: I’m also dedicating time to personal projects and experimenting with new ideas to keep my creative juices flowing.
